In the years since Olivia Palermo burst into the spotlight as a cast member on The City, the Brooklyn-based socialite and model has made a name for herself as a blogger and a street style star. (Palermo is often spotted arm-in-arm with her model husband, Johannes Huebl, and rarely do either have a hair out of place.)
So, it’s no big surprise Nordstrom has tapped Palermo to collaborate on “Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28,” a year-long collection of “modern staples with a high-fashion edge.” Nor is it a surprise that the collection will be out February 8, just in time for New York Fashion Week.
While very few details have been released, you can take a sneak peek at the collection below. The first word that comes to mind when previewing the line is trend-driven. Floaty maxi dresses are paired with knee-high boots – bringing to mind the current 1970s trend – while utilitarian vests pay tribute to the latest military-minded styles.
It’s not the first time Palermo has lent her personal style to a collaboration – in 2015, she teamed up with BaubleBar on a line of statement jewellery – and it probably won’t be the last.
Check out the Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collection at Nordstrom.com and select Nordstrom stores on February 8. Prices will range from $68 to $448.
